ipod help (ne1 got apple email addy)

Got a 20gb 4g ipod at the end of august, all was good until about a week ago when it locked up. I did what the manual told me, and it was fine, but this kept happening. As of yesterday when i try to turn it on i get the apple logo then the folder with exclamaition icon appeared, this happens every time i turn it on.

On the one occasion i managed to turn it on (after many many attempts music was jumpy, like it was skipping, but i wasnt even moving, and the interface kept freezing. Also some songs would just not play, and it skipped to the next track on the album.

It will not connect to either of my computers, to show up in itunes, or even windows explorer. This also means that i cannot format it. I went to the apple help site, i couldnt find an email address to contact them directly, so i anyone could give me one i'd greatly appreciate it. When i filled in the online returns form it said my product was out of warranty they havent even been out 3 months yet! (might be cuz i thought an S was 5 )

    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks in advance

on the apple forums they've got a list of common faults with the ipod... it's worth seeing if you can identify any other faults that may've occurred. My little brother has had his ipod replaced 3 times already (once for battery life (6 hours), once for clicking (between tracks), but the first time because the casing was cracked!)

i've been through tech, support nothing i tried myself fromthe website, or anything that i was told to do worked, im thinking that it might be a damaged hard disk? Anyway it's being collected for repair on Monday, so well see how it goes.
