    Mac Mini 2.26

Does anyone know if a new Mac Mini 2.26 would be a good buy if all one does is use the pc for general office work, internet, adobe picture tweaking and also for the occasional bootcamp with Win 7?

I believe you can play some games in Win through bootcamp but that is not a priority.

Just want the system to be fast, snappy and very responsive.

I need Apple for work so have got to get an Apple machine as well as building myself a new PC too!!

Yes. I borrowed my folks' one prior to upgrading to a 2.53Ghz Mini myself (for HTPC duties). I can't vouch for gaming, but it's pretty snappy. You might want to look at an iMac though, as once you add a screen, keyboard and mouse there's very little price difference, and the screens in the iMacs are pretty good.

    Re: Mac Mini 2.26

the gpu is a mobile version so if you are looking to play non-gpu intensive then some gaming is ok. i think if you check on youtube there should be a few vids showing games being played in bootcamp but for some settings will have to be low.

i dont know but i doubt MW2 will work in high settings

they are quite good for general office use. i know some companies make use of mac minis to reduce desk clutter
