Powerbook G4

It's an absolutly gorgeous laptop! My father have got one of those, and I really like em'! They're so slim and all that! They're also easy to handle and to bring with you, it's not heavy at all!

They rock!

lol, I've got one of the first 1.25ghz G4 Pbooks with the light up keyboard, DVDRW etc.

Love it, first mac I've ever owned, would easily buy another apple.

I am not that keen on the look of the G4 powerbooks. If they had kept it looking like the G3's then yes, but all this booklet thin metalness doesn't really ding my dong

Im thinking of buying into a 12" powerbook, is it possible to install OSX onto a PC?

Atcapollo - yes, I've seen of it done on an AMD. They report it being a little slow tho.

Been looking at it, what is this airport madness?? Anything to do with wifi..Im seeing Airport Ready and Airport Installed...what is this?

airport = 802.11b
airport extreme = 802.11g

airport ready = has an empty pcmcia slot, plus an aerial built into the casing

Actually, Airport ready means it has an aerial in the case, and a slot for an Airport card only, you can't put other cards in.
You can obviously but a seperate wifi card in ones with pcmcia slot, but only upper powerbooks have them. Airport installed is kinda self-explanatory, ready and waiting for some wifi-loving
