I've got a Power Mac 4400/200 with 80mb ram, and a 2gb hard drive, (it's got a 603e 200mhz cpu), and Mac os 9, and it's really slow :)
PowerBook G4 Ti 400Mhz, 512MB ram, 10GB HDD, OS X (10.2).
It's pretty good, but I hate the way the buttons press against the screen and leave marks when it's closed.
2x G4 dual 1.25 with 256 meg, 17" Studio flatscreens,
1x normal G4 1.25 with 512meg but no monitor. Gotta get one!
9x eMac G4 800s, 256 meg,
12x iMac DV 350s with 320 meg,
2x G3 300s with 512 meg.
......
Heh, they're not strictly mine as such. I work in a Music department at a uni. I use em, have to look after em and generally maintain em so they're as good as mine. :)
Got a new 17" G4 Powerbook on the way to replace my PC soon as well with a bit of luck. ;)
Ive got a PowerBook 12" and a 400mhz iMac DV.
Also 1 450mghz g4, 12 350mhz iMac and 14 Powermac 7200 to look after
come on chaps, post some pics :)

the mac still works, it's just it doesn't have a case  :p
That a 12in pb? :) Looks ace :)
Aye, tis a 12" and very lubbly it is too :D
Look closely, and youll see the airport base station too.
http://hometown.aol.co.uk/DaveRobEv/mac.jpg
Good laptop, but I hunnngerrr for a G4.....good mp3, ogg player, excellent quality DVD. Hacked to allow monitor spanning not just mirroring. Airport, 384Mb RAM, umm....it's the 12.1 inch type. Radeon gfx rather than Radeon 7500, sadly. I reckon the graphics and speed bump to 900MHz would make such a difference with X.2...but I'll wait until the next revision before I trade her in, I reckon.
PowerMac G3 Server, 400Mhz, 320Mb RAM, 60Gb HDD, OS X 10.2.6
PowerMac 4400, 166Mhz, 64Mb RAM 2Gb HDD, MacOS 9.2
Quadra 600, 25Mhz, 20Mb RAM, 20Mb HDD, System 7.1
PowerBook 145b, 33Mhz, 4Mb RAM, 20Mb HDD, System 7
Its a work machine, no money for a mac at home :(
PowerMac G3, 350MHz , 450MB Ram apparently, 2 gig hdd and OS9.2 (Beige :( )
temp machine I hope though I've had it a month now, work sold my 17" iMac and I could do with a fresh one

Hi guys I've only got an old mac can't afford a nice new ibook or powerbook etc.. But its fun to play around with.
Its an ancient Powerbook Duo 230 upgraded to 8MB ram from 4MB.
http://www.theiceking.co.uk/images/c...powerbook1.jpg
Put my MS mouse and my 3310 in the pic so you can see a size comparison as the Duo is quite small :D
Also got a mini docking station and floppy drive :p
Nice Powerbook iceKING. I have a 520 that I use mostly for reading ebooks (greyscale display is easy on the eyes) and for IRCing from bed. I have an external cdrom and an external hard drive for it too.
Still got all my Macs - in various states:
SE 30
LC
Centris 610
Motorola 603e something
Powercomputing Powercentre (604)
Powerpc 6100/60
G3 300AV
2 x G4 400 (still in use)
Added:
iBook g4
Imac g5
MacBook Pro
i got a G4 Ibook ( 800mhz) but it's for my sisters kid, i'm just the system admin for it :D
Delete this pls!
Well guess what? The G5 happened :

What Macs do I have? I have two QuickSilver G4s (one stock 733MHz, one upgraded and overclocked to 1.467GHz, w/ airport), a G3/900 iBook w/ aiport, one beige DT upgraded an overclocked to 533MHz, an eMac (1GHz w/ combo) and an ancient 6400 (upgraded to 300MHz)...
well to help kick start this im now a proud owner of a mac,
my bro gave me his old imac, im bloody stuck to use it tho, as i use them at college and havent any idea what sort of programs to get so i can use it like my p3 lappy.
i think its a 233mhz with 4 gb hdd, rage pro 128 gfx card and i think 128 meg ram.
i am a serious n00b with macs tbh it took me half an hour to change the appearance,
AND A BLOODY HOUR TO REOPEN THE CD DRIVE!!!!!
then i discovered you had to trash the cd icon to reopen it :/
i love it to bits tho, im just waiting to get home and ill get pictures :D
Beige G3 (Rev1) - 233MHz, 160Mb RAM, 4Gb HDD, Audio in/out personality card, dead PSU.
G5 - 1.6GHz, 256Mb, 80Gig, R9600, Combo Drive, BT, MX700, and an ominous green glow :D
[edit] just added an extra gig of ram, and a 160Gb SpinPoint SATA should be arriving today.
[edit2] 160Gb drive installed happily. and upped to 1.5Gb all PC2700 CAS2.5 (Apple in all their wisdom gave me one stick of 2700(CAS2.5) and one of 3200(CAS3), slowing the system down to CAS3)... running like a dream now
I have Dual G4, graphite running osx 10.3, I want a new mac.....
I've got a 14" 1Ghz iBook G4. It got me in loads of debt, but it was worth it :D
Where did you get that wallpaper from?
It isn't a exactly a wallpaper but a high-res image of Aguilera from her 'dirrrty' photoshoot. Drop me an email and I'll send it to ya. Tbh I don't like Aguilera (since she went with the Dirrty look lol) but that image looks kinda cool @ that angle...
I have an eMac. I don't know that much about computers. (typed from compaq laptop)

New 12" iBook G4, 512MB RAM, 60GB HDD, with Airport built in running on OSX panther,
didnt get the bluetooth tho, wish i had now
Well,
I dunno, sometimes I feel like maybe I should have waited 'till I had more money, but you know how it is when you want something so much, I
could have waited for a G5 1.8 but it's a 1.6 SINGLE and I got it for
1280.00 USD with my NAPP ( Nat'l Assoc. of Phptoshop Professionals)
discount. Then sometimes I just love it! :iloveyou:
Just received my first Mac.
It's a Mac Mini with 1.42 GHz CPU, 1GB DDR400, Superdrive DVD-RW, 80GB HDD, 20" Cinema Display, Apple Mouse and Keyboard. It's pretty cool. Lots to learn. I know a ton about PCs but my experience with Macs is very limited. What a great little computer. So far I'm very impressed.
15" PowerBook, bought it in October last year for the missus, but she's probably only touched it once.
So I fired it up this week and have been surfing the net with it......luv it!!!
I have got a DP1.8 powermac, upgraded to 1.25gb (from Crucial) And about to add another hdd.
I'm purchasing a PowerBook G4 1.5GHz 15" when my Vaio is repaired and sold - can't wait!
Currently, I use a PowerMac G4 400MHz running OS X 10.3.7 on the desktop. :)
I just got a mac mini 1.25! :D
I haven't even got it home yet. I've just but a Microsoft Cordless Optical Desktop to run with it too. I hope it works!
Ruairi
iBook G4 1.2 12", 1.25GB Ram, 80GB HDD :D
PB 15" 1G 80G 128mb(9700) SUPER DRIVE
IB 12" 384M 30G COMBO (with spanning hack)
I'll try to do this in order:
mac plus
SE30
LC
Centris 610
PowerPC 6100/60
Powermac 5300 (with tv card!)
StarMax - can't recall model
Powercomputing Powercentre 132 - upgraded to 250
G3-300 AV
2xg4 400
and finally, the new g5 iMac 17inch version
I think i may have missed one or 2 of the early ones
Wow, seems like I've forgotten to update my setup listing here.
http://gallery.bsodmike.com/albums/A..._800.sized.jpg
Specs as per my sig ;)
Mike
Is that the new Apple iHeater I see you got under your desk?! ;)
Ah, the beauty of Apple kit. Annoys me. Every newbie thinks they're great computers just because they're stylish in appearance. Well anyway I got given something recently...
iMac 1
iMac 2
iMac 3
Quite the beast, can't quite remember the spec. Definitely has only 128MB RAM though, begging for more. Then another one joined the bunch...
iBook 1
iBook 2
Second pic there shows my super slim Dell laptop next to it.
Spec:
Apple iBook 12"
G3 500MHz
640MB RAM
10GB HDD
OS X (10.2.8)
CD-RW
Got to love the hardware really, only the touchpad on this iBook goes crazy sometimes? Any ideas people? Didn't happen whilst on the desk the other day, could it be a heat issue?
I have just bought myself a brand new mac mini  :p
1.42GHz G4, 80GB, 256MB, CDR+DVD combo. Dont know how they fit all of that into that tiny box, but its my new baby!:p

iHeater - lol!
Tommy, a bit of advice: You can edit your post rather than posting thrice heh.
I was considering buying a Mac mini but thought 'bleh' it's too slow, crippled...but hrm, I might still buy one in April as when I go home my mom will be using the 1.6Ghz G5 (which is downstairs) and I'll only have the Gentoo box. Ohh all the kit I have here (23" TFT, 1.8Ghz G5) get stored @ my buddy Tom's place so ...
The mini is still cool for its size tho...
first PowerBook...my first Mac for that matter

Got to make sure I don't do a sex wee :p
I'm so jealous of everyone who's got more than 1, I've just got my iBook 14" 1.25GHz, but it is the most beautiful computer I've ever seen; though Tiger does eat my RAM!
Quadra 950, 20MB RAM, 250MB HDD, 4x CDROM, Radius 24bit accel graphics, 16" Apple Monitor :)
B&W G3 350, 1Gig RAM, Dell 21" Trinitron; DA G4 DP533, 1Gig RAM, Dell 20"TFT.
1.1Ghz 12" iBook, 1Gb RAM, 40Gb HDD, Airport Express.
1.42Ghz Mac Mini, 1Gb RAM, 80Gb HDD.
Desperately want a more punchy machine like a dual G5 rig - will wait until after the "big switch" now, though.
Apart from my mini and pbook, got a Dual 2.7 rig on order. Will be outfitted with 2GB CorsairXMS TwinX RAM, a X850XT 256DDR GFX card, 2x 300GB Maxtor DiamondMax 10 (16mb cache) 7200rpm SATA HDDs, M-Audio Rev 7.1 Soundcard and my 23" Apple display.
Need to tidy up my room (late 2006) and place this puppy under a nice glass table of sorts next to the couch, once I convert my room into a home cinema.
Powerbook G4 Al
Complete with the optional 'multiple scratches and dents' package.

I have a G4 Qucksilver at home with 2g RAM and standard graphics card...can one or any of you lovely people tell me if I need to upgrade the graphics card to run a widescreen monitor (a 2405FPW or a 2005FPW)?
Ta
You may struggle with the graphics card your best bet is to find out what the card is in there is.
Go to the apple then go to about this mac.
More info and the graphics/displays and it will tell you what the card is.
Thankyou, I'll do that and come back to you.
Thanks again for all your help
Just got myself a shiny new Intel Mac Mini and loving it! Great piece of kit :)
