    Canadian PB

I'm off to canada soon, i was thinking of getting a laptop out there, I've decided to go for the 15" combo drive powerbook, but i'm stil not sure about a few things:

    1. Will I be able to use the pound sign? As it will only have a $ sign won't it?
    2. Can I change the region of the DVD player back to region 2, as it will be in region 1?
    3. The best place to buy the PB from, I know there are a few apple stores out there, is that the best place to get it from?
    4. Will I have to buy a new cable to deal with UK voltage?

    Thanks.

    1. Yes, will work fine, as you will ahve both $ and £ sign on the keyboard.
    2. Should be able to change the region of the DVD drive about4 times until it locks to a single region
    3. Appl prices dont vary much, so the Apple Store wont be much more expensive than anywhere eles, unless a local place is doing a special offer.
    4. The Adapters are 110-230v autosensing I believe, so all you will have to do is get a different plug head to attach to the PSU, I believe.
