12" iBook owner - well pleased

after 3 years of windows based pc ownership i thought i needed to learn sommat new, i wanted a challange,

saw a mates 12" iBook, jaw dropped, bought one within about a month,

they look great, they run great, I truly can't fault it

if you get the student deal you can buy the standard iBook for £650, i doubled the ram and the HD capacity, and it came out at £770, who said apples are expensive

Would go for one but...I don't reckon it'll run World of Warcraft satisfactorily, even after Apple/Blizzard/ATi sort the gfx drivers out....maybe gonna get a PowerBook when the new ones are released next month (almost certainly, I think)...

Used to have a G3 700 MHz one, lovely little machine. How's web browsing with a G4 and Panther? Always SLOW compared to a Windows machine, even a celery 700, page rendering on the iBook was...slow. And when I used the machine mainly for 'net and email..not great.
    Well Hello!
