    Fonts - Mac

Finally got enough money for a powerbook, shame it's such a bad time to buy one.

Got loads of fonts on xp which are organised like the following -
    http://img78.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img78...=screen9me.jpg

Need to know if these font files will work with macs for certain. Got a few hundred fonts and it's might mean I will have to buy a lot of fonts if I am switching to the powerbook for most of my design duties.

Would host a font to test but not sure if macs will open zip files?

Extensis Suitcase seems to open the .pfm files when adding fonts however I am sure it uses the files too?

Many Thanks, help is much appreicated.

Will it work for sure? Would prefer if someone could test it for me as I would be gutted if I bought a mac and most of my fonts could not be used.

How big of a task will it be to convert them?

    Cheers for the quick reply!

Great, just found a thread in another forum and windows truetype 1 font files should work in osx. Cheers for the help Stoo. If all fails I will give transtype a go.
