    It doesn't have a line-in. But Garageband was pretty much made for that.

    Yup, GarageBand 2 gives you 8 channel recording.

    There are plenty of good firewire audio interfaces ou there, most of which cost more than your mac

    Shuttles are faster and better spec'd than the mini

    You should call Apple. The website shows 26th or sooner but I called and they said Feb. 1st is a more realistic estimate.

    If people think Britain is a rip off then they should moan about the taxes, most of the difference comes from the VAT.
