Thinking of selling up, dunno if it's worth it...

Well, truth be told, I don't really make good use of the power of this G5. The biggest workout it gets is ripping a DVD

My options are:

1. Keep it

2. Sell it and go back to my PC full-time (not going to happen, I've bought too much Mac software)

3. Sell it and get a Mac Mini

Leaning towards 3.


My question to you lot is: what's she worth?


G5 Single 1.6GHz
1.25Gb (2x512Mb Crucial PC2700 + 2x128Mb that it came with)
160Gb (Samsung SpinPoint) or 80Gb (Seagate 7200.7) or both
Combo Drive
Radeon 9600Pro
No Modem

And, of course, the Mouse, Kb & Panther CDs...

how long have you had it and what kind of condition is it in? Any dead pixels, scratches etc... If none i would give you £350 for it P Get yourself a mac mini with it

Doesn't seem like it is worth selling it tbh.

The Mac mini's are castrated..specially if you compare it to a G5
