Ipod questions,

Hi guys, I thought I could back my music up onto my ipod and then do a pc format, the only real way I could back my 25gig up with at the time. But now I’m told I can’t get that music off! – this is a problem and now I have the pc up and running and itunes installed I don’t wanna plug the ipod in as I don’t wanna lose the songs? What can I do?

Don't panic. I believe when you plug your Ipod, itunes will ask you if you want to reset your ipod. Hit 'no'. An ipod owner will probably give better advise, im just going on what a mate does.

Force it into the HDD mode and plug it in.

Reset your iPod: menu + pause

Disk mode: PREV + NEXT after a reset as you see the Apple image
