Locked iPod

I was transfering some tunes over to my iPod using ephpod and it crashed so I reloaded the software and now its telling me that the iPod is locked and I should quit iTunes, I dont even have stinking iTunes infecting my pc
Also I can now no longer see the tunes on the iPod, how do I fix this? is there a master reset for the iPod?

Sounds like you've had a freeze m8.Try pressing play and menu buttons together for about 10 secs or till the apple icon appears.

Play and menu buttons dont work, I can access the ipod, can scroll through the menus but theres no tunes, and I cant access the ipod in windows with ephid as it says its locked

ephpod crashed on my pc too - used itunes instead seem ok.

pfft just keep the iPod in disk mode and use iTunes, theres nothing wrong with it, lovely piece of software (if a tad memory eating at 50meg)

You already have one of the best mp3 players on the market dont sell it. or if you do sell it cheap to me i could do with a second

and you didnt have to install iTunes to fix it, iirc you could just use the iPod updater to re-flash it :0 - oh and the reset thing only works if you plug the ipod into the charger while you do it
