    Tiger intergration with AD

Now i dont know if anyone on here has done it but may aswell try!

Im working on a project to get all the macs at work intergrated with Active Directory and ive made some progress however there are somethings that i just cant get working and ive hit the wall of my knowalge...

I can get it to Bind to the domain, lookup people using terminal (lookupd -d), can login using my AD account however its not pulling the details of whos Domain Admin or not from AD so not giving me admin rights when i log on, also i thought it was ment to also see shared folders and map them aswell.

The desktop defualts everytime you login but i believe thats to do with the mac wanting to use Roaming Profiles & home directories but they arnt setup on our network yet.

Anyone got any tips, ideas or good sites that can guild me though so i can see what ive missed?

    Cheers
    Dooms / Leon

I haven't had to intergrate any of my client's macs to Win AD domains. However, I was under the impression that 10.x won't intergrate to the level you want in such an environment [I could be wrong on this]. However, what you propose is certainly feasible with Mac OS X 10.2, 10.3 or 10.4 servers [open directory].

There are rumours that the 10.4.3 update will address some AD and general networking issues, but I'm not sure if this will help your particular issues.
