...works well enough.
A 'friend' of mine installed it successfully, without too much trouble i might add, on a Athlon 64 system. It pretty much works, bar missing some drivers for the odd device. Has anyone else managed this?

A 'friend' huh?
Yeah, I've been reading about it, it seems that all that's causing a few problems now is just the lack of mature x86 drivers (not really surprising seeing as the os hasn't actually been launched yet..)

Well it works suprisingly well - and I think it would work better on an intel chipset, as the biggest holdback was the lack of nforce4 support (i.e. no network driver).Originally Posted by Stoo
Speed wise, it's native, feels ok. Still not convinced it's all that great tho tbh - it's pretty, sure, but is it really better?
What OSX as an operating system OR OSX on the x86?Originally Posted by dangel
The speed will increase with (better/any) drivers, as at the moment there's nigh on no graphics acceleration for anything, which will make things feel quite laggy.
OSX as an os is brilliant

Speed isn't really a problem (although it does take some time to boot!) and the graphics don't feel nasty or anything but it was fixed at 1024x768 as far as i could see.Originally Posted by Stoo
Reminded me of linux tbh - a good OS which i also don't feel the need to use.
