    ibook and projector?

Is there some limitation in using an ibook with a projector? Or was that a thing of the past to do with external monitors?

    Cheers,

    Josh

with the iBook PPC's you still need to apply a small firmware hack if you want the projector to display a different image to the laptop (i.e. for reading presentation notes)

Out of the box they work fine with projectors as long as you don't mind them having the same display. Another advantage is macs seem much better at sensing the right settings for a projector. Previously having gone just after PC using cousins, whilst there presentations had been 640x480, my mac auto-detected 1024x768 as the projectors optimal resolution and my text looked much crisper as result
