    I couldnt do it....

    .... I nearly bought a 12" PB and just couldnt do it...

    The thing is do I like Mac OSX thats what I am not sure about... and big risk to take

    yeah, it's a shame you can't get a MAC OSX emulator for the PC, like you can get Virtual PC for the mac so you can still run Windows/Linux/etc within a Standalone environment etc.

    aye OS X for a pc platform would so rock, I'd certainly be using it!

    The hardware lets it down, for the same price as a 1gig or so 15" powerbook you could have a bigger screen 2 gig+ pc laptop!

    Yeah in the cold light of day, price/performance/value for money Mac don't really do very well. Never have done. That along with the limited amount of software available to them compared to a PC is what holds them back. If you have the money and they do what you want then fair enough. I've had macs in the past but find them hard to justify one at the moment.
