Long story short, someone I know is wanting an FM tuner card for his Mac (G3 or G4 IIRC), and seeing as it doesn't have sound, he'll need a soundcard too.

So you mac enthusiasts, what soundcard and TV tuner box/card can be bought that can be used??

The guy isn't that technically savvy, he just knows how to use the stuff he does on his Mac; he's an artist.

The m-audio revolution 7.1 card will work in a Mac. Might be a bit too pricey though.

How much is it, and where from? And do you know of anywhere I can buy a "Hauppage MYTV2GO-FM" from? According to Hauppage's site, it's a mac TV and FM tuner, but I can't find anywhere to buy it

Thats the hauppage, suppoes to be good.

The guys machine really should heve sound hardware- what macine is it? Most have sound built into the mobo, so its not ewally an optianla extra

Edit: I think he said it was either a G3 or a G4, but that might have been the one he's trying to sell. Can't remember tbh
