    iTunes niggle- song order.

When I load a CD into iTunes the tracks seem to appear in a random order, certainiy not the same order as the CD.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
    Thanks

Is it set to order by track name? That way, when it gets the track names from CDDB, it may immediately order alphabetically. Just a thought.

You've got a different version of that album to the one on iTunes (American vs. UK release etc).

Yes, i have had so many problems with iTunes picking up the wrong data from CDDB.
Is there not a way to look and choose the track listings a la Windows Media Player?

PS you can right click on the bars at the top of where the track names are listed, (which have track name, artist, genre of music etc) and then you can add a new column for track number on a cd, and then change the order using that.
