    intel iBook ??

Im sure im not the first to say that the new Mac Book Pro looks great (despite the name)
But for all of us that cant scope enough green stuff to afford one, when will the intel ibook appear??

Any ideas or rumours floating around, i know Apple love to keep a tight fist on product releases......
Till then ill have to sit back and keep on feeding my 500mhz ibook G3 coal...

I'm gonna agree ith Gordy on this one, keep an eye out on April 1st for Apple's 30th anniversary, bound to be something new announced.

Then again it might be the MacIntel Cube, which is very similar to the Pro macs, only more expensive and harder to upgrade.

Hopefully it will be announced soon...but it will still be 6-12 months before you can buy one that won't explode/burn/crash/generally break, you know the rule with apple revA hardware

If you really need a new one you can get a top-spec G4 iBook off ebay for 500quid or less these days, and a decent G4 powerbook alu for around 700..

Not that relevant, but by the sounds of it, i reckon it could be a while yet.

Well there are rumours flying around as they are starting to quietly sell of their exdemo stock of all the old iBooks, and they are planning a significant increase in intel chip sales in the next month .. most analysis are predicting within the next four weeks

In other news lots of rumours are going around about several colours ... can't wait for a black one - ever since I saw a limited edition black PB in Birmingham Apple Store, heh.
