    Best RAM options for MacBook?

    So where/what is the best deals you've seen for memory for the Macbook?

    I've not managed to beat the scan offer I mentioned onthe apple forums for 'major' ram (2gig of Corsair Value select for £120), but if you go to ebay can get 2gig for £80 (40 per stick). You need to look for ADATA ram, it comes from honk kong and will take a week or so.

    Most people have reported success with it, I nearlly got some myself but held back as if there was a problem, it would be a pain to get a refund..and I think the corsair stuff I got from scan will be better

    check the crucial system tester..should tell you what type of ram you need

    well no its not good VFM anymore - they want 300quid for 2gig of ram for macbooks! thats as bad as apple ffs..

    Their memory checker tool is useful though, so you can find out what you need and then go find it somewhere else cheaper
