is a battery calibration recommended?
ram install was a bit of a hassle for me, one of the screws werent straight, so was a bit hard to get out, and yeh the ram took a bit of pushing to get it all the way in. battery all in and charging.
then will install windows etc.
how do you calibrate the battery on these?
cheers

Page 23 of the manual ;)
Basically, charge it fully
remove charger
run it down (fully) until it goes to sleep
leave it sleeping for 5hrs
plug back in charger
then use as normal

@ Coco
Just a question, does the LHS of the macbook where all the port and where the power lead plugs in, it gets pretty damn hot after a bit of time!
Is this something to worry about? The rest of the mac stays relatively cool, tho the CPU goes to about 78 on each core. I just think it strange that the heat should be concentrated around that area, despite the cooler and CPUs being at the back in the centre. :s
Does that make any sense?

Mine is the same...
I'm sat here with Safari, Mail, iPhoto, iTunes, ichat, Skype and a few other apps running and the "CoreDuoTemp" app says it's running at 76degrees, and yes the LHS is hotter.
