Mac-mini

Hi All,
I'm considering getting a macmini as I played with my folks' iMAC the other weekend. Basically I'll just be using it for the iLife photo/video bits and pieces. Vid capture from a camcorder etc.

Is the macmini up to the job? I don't really want to blow loads of cash, as I use predominantly windows/cygwin for work, and I've got a fully loaded box for that.

I was considering getting the Intel Core Duo version, dropping in an extra gig of ram and connecting it to a 20/24" monitor or mebbe just my LCD tv.

Well, yes its a great little computer.. I have the PPC one. and im very happy with it, you'l be happy too if you dont intend to be doing anything to extrainuous on it.. games and graphic programs are a no no, but its fine for a little bit of light photoshop and everything else.

I have a pretty monster rig for Games. I'm just going to be playing with the iLife 06 stuff really.
