Help Transferring Thunderbird Info

Hi,

I have Thunderbird installed on my mac mini which I have subsequently sold, and before I send it off I want to get my mail and settings transferred to both my windows XP machine and my macbook.

I have copied all the folders from the /library/profiles (from the thunderbird directory). So I now have 3 folders called:
imaphost_ug
local folders
mail.dur.net

Now how do I import the mail and settings from the mac mini to my other thunderbird setups (all are new installs). I have tried following the gudes on the FAQ, but it doesn't work; as it assumes you are importing not transferring :s

I have tried just copying the folders to the relevant directories on both machines to no avail!

Please help me asap :)
