Analogue video Capture device

Is there a Mac compatible external DVD writer with analogue in?
I wish to transfer some video onto my iBook ( no DVD drive).

Any ideas?

I'm not aware of a DVD writer that does that per say.

We do similar work and use a Formac Studio (firewire video input box, allows VHS, S-Video, Compsite etc) to get the signal in onto iMovie, then burn it to DVD using the onboard DVD writer, but I'm sure a normal external would do the job as well.
