I need mail.app

I stupidly deleted mail.app and I now need it. I can't find the download anywhere on the internet.

Can anyone help me out?

You should be able to recover it from the os x discs

Can't remember off hand how.

The app is 40mb plus so its not the sort of thing you can email over

hmm only way is to complete a format and re-install

Looks like more Entourage hell for me.

I'm pretty sure you can just put in the disks to install it without affecting your current installation. Shove Disk1 in and see what you can find.

i know its about a mac, but you know on XP where in the control panel, you can add components to your installation?
is there possibly a way to do this mac-style?

Yes - you need pacifist to extract any random package from your disks.
