    Imovie Capture Question

    Hey,

I have captured some film from my camcorder and saved them as imovie projects, i was just wondering if anyone knew where the actual clips in the project are saved to because i cant seem to find them to move them to a external disk.

    Thanks
    Drobbins

Right - when you save an iMovie project, the project itself, despite looking like a normal file is actually a folder, or a package.

If you Control click the file, then select something along the lines of "View package contents" since I forget the exact term used, you go inside the file. In there you'll find a folder called Media, and all your clips will be in there.

However, for the sake of backing up, I wouldn't bother doing this - just backup the actual project as a whole.
