Can anyone help me out with a quick shuffle................ question

Two questions actually;

First question, thinking of getting me and my girlfriend a shuffle each as a valentines gift and for the gym. What's the deal with using 2 shuffles and one PC?

Secondly, do the shuffles support gapless playback like the iPod and iPod Nano do now?

You can have as many shuffles as you want associated with one library.

I don't think it is 'gapless', but that is because it is set to shuffle!

It doesn't shuffle automatically, it can play 'standard' playlist orders too. Mine is an older Shuffle, and doesn't do gapless playback (annoyingly).

As long as you don't mind the same library on the different iPods that should be OK - I've not had a problem with my 30gig video and my Shuffle.

It will be fine with 2 iPods and 1 PC if you don't set it to auto-sync. This is the best mode to be in anyway, as it allows you to use your iPod as a hard drive too (well with real ones, not sure about shuffles), and doesn't try to sync every time you plug it in (inevitably deleting a song you wanted and only had on your iPod, or just wasting time).

Also iPod Minis or Nanos are likely to be only a few quid more than a shuffle if you shop around..so you might want to consider one of those instead of a shuffle - better value for money and more features
