    TV: Samsung PS50C6900
    AMP: Pioneer VSX-AX4ASi
    Speakers: MS905C, 2x MS902, 4 x MS903S, SVS PB10

Could do with a re-paint in there and a false floor to hide wiring...

    Bedroom setup

Missus hated the PC in the bedroom and I can't live without a HTPC so I came up with a cunning plan, hide it behind the TV!

    Samsung 32" LED 1080p

    Media PC

I should have taken a phone before install but its one of these

    Server room...Where the magic happens

I can stream 1080p to all media PCs in the house simultaneously even if they are all watching the same film. Cost = lots.

Jay - I assume that is XBMC on your HTPC - what skin is that?
Am a little jealous of that server setup, although I'm confident that my wife would freak out if I showed her that pic.
I'm commenting on an internet forum. Your facts hold no sway over me.

    Re: Your HDTV Setups

    its actually mediabrowser for WMC

We use the heat from the servers to dry the clothes, not good for my servers really but keeps the wife happy.

as you can see it gets a bit warm in there

Daughter is watching kids TV so ignore what's on the screen.

Subwoofer is filthy again thanks to the daughter

Proof you don't need to spend a small fortune to get a decent setup:

LG 32LE4500 32 Inch Full HD LED TV (free with phone contract)
    LG BD370 Blu-Ray Player (140 Euro)
Humax IPVR-9200c Hard Disk Recorder (Free with Cable contract)
Pioneer PD-M60 CD Changer (7 Euro second hand)
Xbox 360 (Free with phone contract)
AC Ryan PlayOn! HD Network Media Tank (100 euro with 640 Gig HD pre installed)
Sony STR-DB870 Surround Sound Amplifier (80 Euro second hand)
Sony Surround Speakers with Active Subwoofer (50 Euro second hand)

Total cost 377 Euro or 329 UK Pounds

We only have a small living room so a bigger a TV would have been overkill, we could have opted to pay 49 euro and we would have got the 47 inch TV but it was way too big for this room.

    Re: Your HDTV Setups

apologies for the mess... i was in the middle of backing up and rebuilding

Usually i use a cideko air keyboard to control it... its awesome

Media PC isnt anything fancy, athlon II X2 u250 4GB ram and an HD5450. Used to have a hardware RAID in there with 4 x 2TB drives but now i have put them in my microserver and it just has a single intel 80GB SSD.

Atm it isnt set up, i have been too busy its seriously killing me. I havent got my PC set up, i havent got my microserver setup (FreeNAS is bollocks) and i havent got a bloody media centre.

    Re: Your HDTV Setups

    I've tweaked a few things:

Pioneer Kuro KRL-32 32" LCD TV (Now wall-mounted)
    Pioneer VSX-1018AH AV Receiver
Mirage Nano Prestige speaker set (Corners + centre now wall-mounted speaker)
BK-Elec XLS 200-DF (Hidden down the side of the sofa)
    Oppo BDP-93 Multiregion Blu-ray player
Sony PS3 "Fat" Japanese launch model
    Apple AppleTV V2

    Other stuff:
    Mac Pro
    Samsung Syncmaster 244T
    Denon RCD-M38DAB
    JVC UX-1000 speakers
Loads of random crap on desk in misc electronics bits + Arduino, and a glass of wine (probably not a good combo)
Silicon Graphics Indigo2 R10000 Max Impact UNIX Workstation
Silicon Graphics Octane2 Dual 600Mhz R14000 VPro V12 UNIX Workstation
    Samsung ML-2580N Mono Laser Printer
    Canon i990 Inkjet Printer
Seagate Black Armor 220 NAS box

Plus a load of DVD's, CD's, Blu-ray's and other odds and sods.

I can stream stuff either via the AppleTV box or the Oppo depending on the source, the PS3 also has the PlayTV add-on so can do the PVR bit, but I can't remember the last time I even turned it on tbh..

There was supposed to be a new unit turning up which makes a bit better use of the space, but er, this was what was received on delivery:

    (Removed, sorry, family show, Mods)

It should have looked a little more like this:

Turns out that the legs were MDF with an Oak finish on it, and the Chrome bits are er, plastic.

Still, it'll do, and I've got a project to correct the flaws once a new glass top is delivered in a couple of weeks. (Turns out I can get enough good quality planed solid oak for ~£30, just needs some mitre joints and a few holes drilling...)

    Re: Your HDTV Setups

Well, I have had a few changes in situation since posting in this thread. Some of your setups are looking NICE!

Here is mine at the moment, I am awaiting an active display port adaptor from amazon to get the TV and both monitors working simultaneously. I will also b swapping the old 24" monitor on the right for another 28" when my budget allows.
