    Vengeance 1500

My old vengeance 1500's are looking a bit tired, but they still work just as well as they did the day I first got them. They only issue I have is with the new drivers. While the LED's used to glow blue when the mic was active and red when it was muted, the now blink annoyingly between blue and red when the mic is muted. Having contacted corsair support I was informed that they were intended to do that, and that there was no way of turning the feature off. Does anyone know of a workaround, or have access to the drivers from before the change?

    Re: Vengeance 1500

    Mine have always done this.
I actually found the driver a bit fiddly and messed up the settings in other apps, so I uninstalled it and run the headset as is. I don't recall the option to change/disable this.

As is, I find it pretty useful, as I've often gone to speak but seen the flashy and avoided making a fool of myself.

Its done it ever since the release of the V2 headset. Its a shame really, otherwise they're perfect.

I trail the cable over my shoulder, as it keeps it out the way.
I'd personally have preferred no in-line remote, or at least one further down the cable toward the USB. Flippin' annoying thing, it is and I never use it.
