    Got a new car!

My new car was delivered on Friday, right in the middle of 5"'s of snow! Not the best day to get my new car but hey ho....It's a Seat Leon FR 2.0TDi, 170 bhp.

Haven't really been out in it yet, because of the snow....took it out with Lowe today, when he popped round. She goes quite well!

Its a replacement for the Fabia, so I have still got the Octavia vRS as well. Just had that tidied up as well, took it into the bodyshop to have all of the stone chips sorted.

Here's a couple of pics to wet you're appetites!

Im impressed with it so far, but it's only done 57 miles!

Looks very nice, I like the alloys, Seat seem to provide a lot of their cars with nice alloys, Was it the older Cupra R which came with OZ superleggars? <however you spell it

I liked that when I saw it at the excel motorshow earlier this year What a fantastic colour you choose. I only had a sit in one, but thought it was well confy The promo video's of it going around a track was pretty damm impressive. A really good purchase methinks The front really is to die for !

Well, I can confirm it goes like stink as well, even whilst relatively new. Once this thing loosens up a bit it's going to be a proper rocket. I don't even want to think about what a remap would do to it...

The ride's fairly firm (more so than what you'd perhaps expect considering how high it sits) but I guess that's to do with the rubber bands they call tyres rather than the suspension alone.

Still - very impressed and it's got the potential for a hell of a lot of tweaking should the inclination be there. I say decked about 40-50mm, black powdercoating for the rims, cheeky remap, and a debadging session all round and it'd be perfect.

He didn't cos he's way off!

    Thanks everyone!

So far I have been very impressed and I can feel it loosening up a bit already......*whistles

The wife uses the Octavia, and it enables me to get the petrol kick at the weekends. Only problem with the Octavia is the MPG, it only does about 18 MPG when I take it out lol. The remap is partly to blame for that though.

I have quite a long journey to work, hence going for the diesel version. Although she only managed 41 mpg today. Ill imagine that it will get a bit better when its settled in a bit. I remember the Fabia being a bit heavy when I first got it.

Like I say though, Im impressed so far, it's definately got a kick when i comes on boost, but its still nice and sedate when you just want to potter along. And to be fair, despite the height it handles superbly and it solid on the motorway...even at slightly excessive speeds...*whistles again. The only couple of things that have bugged me so far, is the lack of a light in the glovebox and the size of the glovebox, and the fact it didnt come with the stainless steel pedal covers as with the Octy and Furby vRS. So not much yet lol.

A rogue stone hit the door today, whilst coming up the M1, peed me of a little, but hasn't left too much damage. Ill update when I have a few miles under my belt!

Suprisingly good. It looks like it's sitting high, purely because of the size of the arches - they're absolutely huge. It was lapping the private test track pretty well.
