Yeah - although you have to be in something pritty fast to outrun them! Alot of people don't realise those Police cars have been chipped and had a modded fuel management system put in which gives them much more power/acell/top end for that reason! Shame they have to waste all those good upgrades on Scodas and Focuses

in fact i believe this is all bs. if the police really believed you were doing those speeds then they would have banned you. 80 in a 40 would be an instant ban. 50 they might let you off with but by no way 40. and you deserve it imo, 40 limits are nearly always semi-residencial roads and you could easily have killed someone. limits are there for a reason, and should always be obayed.

ja, for 80 in a normal zone - but if you thought the dude was following you and he could have been an axe murderer then fair enuff, but i think was unjifisfied, lucky for gettin just a rolluckin for goin 80 in a 40 zone IMO

compared to 150bhp a 2.0 16V GTI that throws out.... It's obvious what car is faster but the Skoda is a bloody good choice as a run of the mill Police car. Great fuel economy.

3dfx, im not being over dramatic, 80 in a 40 zone is very irresponsible (sp?) i don't care if you hit anyone or not, if you ain't an emergency service driver with blues n two's on you ain't got any business doing that kinda speed in a 40mph zone, end of story.

Its because of people like you, that my wife has to work over every day over xmas. Arresting idiots who drive like maniacs and clearing up the messy trail you leave behind.

So no-one got hurt this time? What about next time? Do you wanna kill someone? Do you want to be responsible for someones death? I doubt it. You could hit/run and do one. Maybe never got caught, but its someone daughter/son you injure. Someone else who has to go to their house and break the news to them. Help them understand and deal with it.
