Meguires Claybar + NXT (56k = BOOM)

Well, it was a nice day, the sun was shining and I'd got a claybar in the garage which I'd never used. Tried it on a few parts and it only really benefitted the rear end and the level lower than the side trim on the doors. After that out came the NXT and well - the rest speaks for itself I think.

I'm really struggling looking at it with the reflection of the houses, i'm getting wierd effects like one of the pictures looks like there is a huge scratch down the door but its only the top of the houses.

I clayed my car for the first time this weekend, took loads off the roof, hatchback and bottoms of the doors. Really impressed with the finish it left too.

It took best part of 3 hours to do. The car was already pretty good to be honest despite not being waxed properly over winter so it was just like a slightly longer waxing session. Obviously if a car isn't in such a good state to start with it takes a lot longer.

Jay - it's not a factory Williams no, it's a normal Clio 16v that's had a race prep Williams lump dropped in it (though the engine came from a Spider Cup).

There's a few other differences (slightly narrower track on the 16v, different manifold to get more power as opposed to torque, interior, rims and decals) but nothing that is worth blowing a large amount of wedge on to change.
