    VW Golf for the long-haired Colonel...

    ... so, her Clio is coming to the end of it's uselful life, and i know she likes Golfs, so... less than 10 years old, around the £1000 mark...

    1994 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 1.6V DRIVER, 1994, L reg. 80000 miles, Metallic green, alloys, e/s/r, 12months MoT, tax, immaculate conition. £1,250ono

    is this about right? any advice on Golfs in general???

    can anyone expand a little? good deal you rekon? what's worth looking out for? i'm not prepared to buy anything with over 80k (so the ablove is the limit)...
