Its ok!! Found the engine! Must have sleep-removed it and forgotten
Lol!
Cams look good as new! not bad for 16 years old.
Crank looks good as new.
One of the cylinders has a nice scratch - probably caused by a sparkplug disintegrating in the past blocks off to the machine shop to be honed up good as new.
Engine out and stripped in 6 hours - not bad!

Gah - hook, line and sinker
Some bits to go on:
Inside the engine just giving her a refresh - new piston rings, main and big end bearings, and a full nissan gasket set including the headgasket.
Also doing full fluid swap, Engine / Gearbox / ATTESA(4wd).
Looking forward to getting the engine back together! I am also taking this opportunity to re-paint all of the cam covers etc - the nasty goldy powder coat is proving to be a right nightmare to get off. I've tried to get the bits shot blasted but had no luck as they said its soft aluminium and could be damaged / pitted
So going at it with sandpaper.
Might try some kind of chemical dip - its taking too long to do it manually!

how does it feel?

Sounds pretty insane too.
Its got standard shocks on with Tein springs so its a tad stiffer and lower than standard - but still rolls a little bit too much for my liking though so I may put the hideously stiff coilovers back on to try.
