Bought this on ebay... £8ish. Autogylm product. I thought i'd give it a bash. I'll try it one day when the weather is a bit better. We've still got snow here.

What the hell is it !?
Is it supposed to replace a leather ?? I cannot believe it won't leave streaks !?
hmmm, but then I guess its just a bigger version of the squeezy the windows cleaner uses....

They don't leave streaks, they take the water off the car leaving it perfectly dry -however I wouldn't recommend them.
I used one on a mates car and despite being amazingly vigilant for grit on the blade and the car, it scratched hell out of it. I'd only ever use one of these on the windows.
Luckily my mate wasn't too bothered and we managed to T-Cut the damage out, but I'd never use one on paint again. Try it by all means, but wash and wipe the blade after EVERY stroke and make sure the car is PERFECTLY clean.

Tried it out the other day.... Seems alright. If ya use it wisely ya wont ever scratch the paintwork. It's a hell of alot easier than a chamios leather!

This is what I thought at first till I saw the damage it was doing. Seriously, bin it..

yeah, for Windows it's great, but for metal work, ya better get that T-Cut out :-)
