Frankly...it was best in the Nova

But, Corsa petrol cars, are either
A: dire slow but economical (ie 1.2i 8v)
    or
    B: bit quicker but drink fuel (ie 1.2 16v, 1.4 16v)

The best all round car is..... sorry...the Micra

BUT.....I'd be looking at Pug 306 too for cheap insurance and more space, you can't go wrong. The 1.4 is very economical, and a tad faster than a 1.2 Corsa.

    And they drive like heaven

A 106 1.1i is also very very nice. A Zest 2 is the best. Power Steering makes it a dream to live with, and it handls sublimely. A 1.4 Quiksilver is the best looking for value too.
yeah, but dude, he's replacing the metro for reliability reasons

have you SEEN the "my 306 is buggered" subforum?

    Lol

You can probably get a pretty nice Rover 220 Di for £500 - £1000 - the DI version has an intercooler, and produces 105bhp which is pretty good for a smallish car, and performance and MPG is better than 306 DTurbo - and you can run them on veg-oil. You can even get them remapped to get an extra ~30bhp from them, putting them in Skoda Fabia VRS figures (for bhp)...

They have aged fairly well in looks, because even the latest versions look(ed) pretty much exactly the same!

Enough of this Rover and Peugeot rubbish, he wants a Japanese car. Or a Fiesta.
