Seat Leon 2.0 TDi FR or Audi A3 2.0 TDI

I have just got back from test driving the Leon FR, and I am very impressed with the drive and comfort. Granted the interior isn't as nice as the Audi, but I wouldn't say its ghastly.

I was also impressed on how quite it was, probably quieter than the Audi when it got warm.

Doll, I average about 17k per year, what engine would you go for if the 170ps is going to be a problem?

Tbh as long as your aren't doing short hop drives all the time it will be fine and with doing 17k a year, then i would imagine you'll be getting regular blasts and motorway journeys.

I think the interior is fine, admitably its not as plush as the A3 or the Golf, but its better than the Altea. Mine hasn't starting creaking or rattling yet and the cold weather usually shows up anything that's suspect. I say save yourself a load of tax and go for the better looking option of the FR . But then im biased lol.

But to sum up...I can't fault it! And it's great fun to drive for a derv.

Think you've made the right choice there.

But that could be because I'm anti Audi/Merc/BMW .... Used to be anti-Volvo but now that I own one I reread the driver manual and realised that Volvo driver really ARE immune to normal traffic laws

Congrats, I have the FR as well. Coming up to it's first year. I only do 8k a year maximum and I haven't had a problem with the DPF. I have recently test driven the A3 and yes, it's a beautiful high quality interior but I couldn't justify the price hike. So I am sticking with the FR. Great car and so chuckable

I went for a red one, I really liked the yellow but I thought I would go for the 2nd and safer option of red.
