They won't do anything for your mpg..

well they'll create much less air turbelance than a proper set of alloys so i reckon they probably will help with MPG..

i seen a Rover 25 with a set of those on a few weeks back, the guy driving it looked about 70-odd mind you

i'm sure it could have quite a decent impact on his MPG tbh..

These were std veedub beetle kit when I were a lad. Cheap as chips lumps of spun Ali. Maybe check out VW Beetle enthusiast mags/sites.

Not all that much - you can stick your hand out the window and air will still part around it.

Then look at the air that would hit any hubcaps.. practically none because the tread of the wheel has already pushed it out of the way.

I doubt it, most cars are designed to be aerodynamically efficient, i.e the air doesn't just get channeled straight back into the bodywork

It will make a difference, how much of a difference and whether you would be able to tell at 70mph is a whole other question
