Kimi is a miserable sod When he can't be bothered he can't be bothered.

Normally I'd say Alonso did something to cause that, knowing how much he likes Hamilton, but Piquet's Renault was having gearbox problems all race so if Alonso's stuck it could have had the same result.

Yeah I think I've only ever seen Kimi smile once, but perhaps that was just a bit of wind.

Would be interesting to get some readings from that knock. Like you say Piquet had problems but Alonso's car didn't appear to show many, if any.

Regarding that Button/Coulthard mishap - either we did't get much coverage of it or I was knocking up some lunch. From what I did see it just looked like your typical Coulthard race - a bit blustery with the occasional shower
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

He didn't, and as far as F1 goes, Hamilton's all-but-accepted he was to blame. With a guy following so close you can't come off the throttle or brake in those things, even a bit at that speed, without the guy behind you slamming into the back of you like you were stopped.

Hamilton got a much better run out of the corner after Alonso ran slightly deep into turn 1, had a decent slipstream (they were still doing 130mph+) then he followed Alonso and just didn't react to the closing speed. Had Alonso retired because of it, it wouldn't have been very harsh to have seen Hamilton investigated for causing an avoidable accident - unlikely but you could understand why. As I said earlier Alonso did fantastic to keep that car going so well with so much damage (both that hole in the middle of the rear wing and the right-side end-plate missing entirely).

DC and Button's wasn't really caused by either, more a mis-understanding. Button just lost control when he realised DC was closing the door again. DC more to blame for moving in the braking area if you needed apportion blame I guess.

Kimi's awesome. He just couldn't care less about anything. Just does his job, goes home and parties. His comment on the grid in Interlagos 2006 was epic.
