I usually try to make it along to F1 testing at silverstone. Not that I'm a cheakskate or anything..
I hadn't planned any. Although it was fantastic being at the BSB round at Mallory Park, you honestly get a better handle on the action from the telly.
That said, I highly doubt you could beat some highly tuned 4 wheel drive cars thrashing about in a forest for an experience.

Do it, despite it being full of people - and me not liking large crowds - its brilliant.
I was down in '05, we sat on the inside of Copse, and its a great place to watch - not so great for seeing a lot of the track (although, not many places are because its so flat), but you got to see the cars coming out of the pits and witness some mind-blowing acceleration.

The wife received a corporate invitation to the BTCC at Thruxton from a sponsor, rude not to.
Indeed - the last time I went to Brands was on an invitation from BMW, their corporate suite gave a nice view over the track.
Nothing this year but planning to go the Australian GP next year. Would love to go and see something this year if I could though, funds don't allow unfortunately.
The problem I find is there is always something I have to do at the times something I actually want to do is on.
Gah!
