ok, so i get the feeling you don't like them

Is it really the car? Or, is it the drivers?

personally, i like the look of saxo's.. BUT i do admit, that they have a townie yobbo aura around them.. however, eveyone seems to tar all people with the same brush when is comes to paxo's. yes they are cheap french crap, but would you say all volvo drivers must be crap as there 80 yo grandads? well yes but there not. The saxo in XTR's thread however is a joke, i like a bit of light modding, but the extremes some people o threw makes you wonder what there fashion sense must be like to drive round in a pink VTR withi his foggies on....

so lay off the saxo's, its the drivers you hate not the car.

I agree. Saxos are great little cars- cheap, easy to drive and insure with many citroen dealers still throwing in free insurance to sell them. In fact i think this is the reason they have become so popular in the first place.

Saxos are a common site on the roads now and i doubt most people have anything against the car- just the muppet who likes to fit his with phat alloys

I don't mind Saxos, or Corsas, or 106s. All nice little cars. It's the reputation they've gotten for being modded by stupid townies who think a bright red car with a tacky plastic body kit that wouldn't look out of place on a Fisher Price toy, stupid 17" alloy wheels (the wheel arches can't accomodate anything bigger ) that expose the lovely drum brakes at the back and tinted windows ( I agree I wouldn't wanna be seen driving it).

Did that make any sense? It's a rather long sentence. Lol

i only mind modded saxos, the origionals look quite nice, specially with the stock alloys that kinda bend inwards.. iykwim.. there not too many modded ones round this end - mostly novas/escorts.. but give it time and they'll arrive..

Saxo's are cool, very affordable nice cars Some of the drivers are idiots tho - but you get that with lots of cars.

Corsa's....arrh yes....now there's a car I really have grown to hate!!

Funny you should mention Volvo's and Saxo's.

I know quite a lass who drove a volvo as her first car, and then treaded it in to get a Saxo.

I quite like the saxo, even some of the modded ones look ok. But then there's always the minority that screw things up for everybody else. Seems like the "minority" at the moment seem to like buying Saxos; So I'd stay well awya from them - at least until they become classics (like the xr3i) rather than modded bangers.

I don't dislike a particular car just cos alot of boy racers tend to drive them, as we've said, its the minority that gives us these opinions. They all drive Corsas round here anyway
