i'm actually looking for a sat nav atm as a xmas present...
isn't there a tomtom with a sd card slot? can't seem to find any info on that

All TomTom models come with a SD card slot not sure what you are after

are you sure about that? i looked at the tomtom one xl in a store today and couldn't find where to stick it

the one i looked at had a big label covering that whole area.. no sd slot in sight, which model is this one you posted?

its a TT1 XL. Was the the one you looked at a demo unit, might have had the port covered to stop the sdc ard getting stolen

i think it was a v2.. which afaict doesn't have any sd slot

tomtom One 3rd edition doesn't have slot - bought one recently. very cool. had Western Europe & South Africa on it, maxed out the 1GB ram.

The 730 (and i assume 530 and 930 too) have an SD Slot, on my/our one there is. Not sure on the newer versions of it though
