Re: 18 year olds dream car
If I was going for a car that size I would find one of these
http://www.autocult.com.au/img/galle...eOmata3807.jpg
I would think it would be more than £8,000 though!
Re: 18 year olds dream car
And I was looking at something far more sensible:
Lotus Excel
Re: 18 year olds dream car
wouldnt have a fiat if it was the last car on earth
dont they break every like 5 mins?
and i must say, that lotus does look nice
but a bit too 80'sy for me
i like my hatchbacks
smaller and easier to fit into parking spaces :p
Re: 18 year olds dream car

odd, considering i thought they were hideous, and the only thing i'd change :p lol
some of those with like 20 spokes, and the outside of the rim and different colour from the inside would be my choise..

but fiats do to
and this wouldnt break down then, with it having a FORD engine :D
Re: 18 year olds dream car
Think I would rather have a metro..

Well it's not really a ford engine if it's a cosworth is it.. probably came out of one though.
Re: 18 year olds dream car
lol
that metro is mental
and aye, prolly came out of a sierra or an escort..
Re: 18 year olds dream car
Of all the rally cars and especially the group B's, the metro is my favourite :) The sound is so awesome in person.
I've only ever seen one actually on the road and it was certainly shifting lol
Re: 18 year olds dream car
wow i bet..
i like that 306
but i would settle for a civic..
but cars arnt really my strong point, am currently driving a "spearmint silver" (turquoise) automatic, Corsa C Elegance... ughh
Re: 18 year olds dream car
Civic's are a pretty safe bet in terms of reliability and they are a hoot to drive. If ever you wanted to be a touring car driver, it is the car for you :D
As long as you are willing to rev the nuts off it then a quick test drive would have you hooked on a type R I'm sure :)

the car i would choose if i was 18 again would be an EG civic. oops iv got one! only 6 years late then!
i presume this is an "out of your own money" kind of thing?
Re: 18 year olds dream car
Errr... 18 year old dream car, DB7
the phrase "So where is the magnet for the ....." as it's a .... magnet ;)
Doesnt mean I would own it, still a dream car though, and I agree with madduck, would go for a Civic myself

i mean settle for, if i couldnt get this, or a few other cars i would place above it on my "want" list...
civics are nice
they'd make about 5 on my list
under 306's, MGZR's etc

if money was no object
my drive would have a ford GT
a aston martin DB9
and that 306
and it would have to be extended a lil bit to fit em all on :p
