Car Swap: TDi for my V-Spec

I'm after a Golf TDi for the wife, and the obvious thing to do is chop the Roadster in
So, anyone selling a TDi Golf? Or know much about them?? PM/Email me if you've got one and would prefer something faster, more fun, more reliable (really), with character etc etc

now, why am I doing this again???

Don't do it m8! you gotta listen to your heart! I speak from experience, I made a hasty decision and traded in my TT for a bmw saloon when we had a baby, I'm still suffering - don't do it!!
Wise old man won't you help me please? My house is a squash and a squeeze.

would do, but we need the economy of a diesel for the miles we do (visiting family, holidays etc.) and the golf will do twice what a 5 does!

Good cars, although plenty on here will argue with me.

I get about 60 MPG from my PD 130 when chilling and around 40 MPG when putting my foot down, still not bad. About 550 miles outta the tank on average, costs £40 to fill at my local.

They are bloody quick, esp in gear over-taking.

Build quality is good, most would say better than the MK V's.

Don't get anything less than the PD 130 and don't get the PD 150 (not worth the extra insurance/purchase costs), so get the 130 :-)

If you can, then find one which has been fitted with the sports suspension pack, makes the handling soooo much better, without comprimising ride quality.

    Steve

ps would like something faster but don't think anyone would insure me, only 21... sob...sob
Winning isn't everything, but losing is nothing...
