For the Hamilton fans, it must have been an exciting race. For everyone else...I fell asleep watching both live and the full re-run. Dull. Dull. Dull.
Anyone have differing views on this or is it just me?

Nope, possibly the dullest race I've ever seen..

Glad I didn't get up for it. Watched it muted while listening to music this afternoon
Boring but I'm glad Hamilton won and I hope he gets the title at the next race..
..because.. then I will go back to not caring who actually wins the championship next year. I will just watch it race for race like I did when I was younger. And to be honest, that's if I watch it next year as it seems to have taken a turn for the worse.. again ( and again.. tending to infinity).
I think Hamilton is one of the most interesting drivers out there (in a decent car) and with a championship under his belt I think he might settle into it a bit more and we can see him as he was in gp2 I think it was.. whatever he did before this anyway.
I'm looking forward to see what vettle does next year in the red bull.. but if the car is anything like this year (red bull not torro) he will be pretty much out of it which is a shame as he does have a lot of potential it seems.
It was perhaps the most boring race I've ever watched. The fact Hamilton won, on a historically Ferrari track and Kubica now out of the championship running, only made it worse and put me in a very bad mood for having actually taken the effort to wake up. But meh.
This year's championship has had a pretty dull 2nd half of the season though, and the only driver I think is worthy of winning this seasons championship (Kubica) is out of it. I even feel demotivated to watch Brazil now.
Interlagos is one of my favourite tracks, but I doubt Hamilton will screw up like last year. I can't think of drivers/cars to fill positions 3-5 reliably even if Ferrari win 1-2. Still, if Massa wins the WDC on home soil it will be great to witness...crazy Brazilians!

Boy have you got a short memory!
Remember the Schumacher championships, where it would have been settled long ago? It's not been a good season for the title contenders (Kubica aside), but it's been a very odd 2nd half to the season, what with 2 first-time winners and Alonso winning back-to-back races (and who'd have said that after half of this season?). If you take away the controversy and fanboyism which has been flying around the internet (on both sides) then it's been a damn good season.
I was bored stiff during the race, and like ACiD I was bordering on frustrated that I got up for it rather than just started watching when I got up - but think back to 2002 or 2004... China was epic compared to most of their races. It probably just seemed dull after all the odd races we'd grown used to.
Good win by Lewis and strong races for Alonso and Barrichello. Nothing else of note happened though.
I'm not sure we'll ever see that happen if they continue down the approach that you practically have to have the blessing of the FIA to even attempt to overtake someone (possibly achieved by only consenting to the use of the 'push to overtake' KERS button down the straight or at other FIA approved locations).
Recorded on Sky+, then in afternoon watch it - bit like Scalextric when you fast-forward and pause for any/if interesting bits.
Yes, I remember those times, but not what happened - I hardly watched it, even if it were teams and drivers I liked winning
We've had interesting and good races, treating them as individual events, but I really don't think there was much to be enthusiastic about during the season at all - 4 way title contenders half way through the season was about it. Like I say, some good key moments OF the season - BMWs first win as well as Kubica's and Alonso's back to back wins, Singapore night race....but the championship story died in the 2nd half...well, for me at least. I'd rather have a poor start to the season and have a better end to it.If you take away the controversy and fanboyism which has been flying around the internet (on both sides) then it's been a damn good season.
Shame the night race was on such a boring track. It all looked very nice but the race would have been so boring if Piquet hadn't stuffed it.
Aye, it was pretty dull - but let off due to the spectacle (of which even I never saw again I'd be pretty happy, seemed to be a big effort for nothing). I have to say Valencia was way worse, though - that and the Chinese GP probably biggest snooze-fests of the season.
It was boring but at least Hamilton won. Just have to wait to see if he can pull it off in Brazil now!
I really hope Hamilton wins this year - if he does it will be interesting to watch the Sports Personality of the Year, there are so many candidates especially after the Olympics!
