How about you just drop yours off with Gordon Spooner, throw a large wad of cash at him and pick it up when its finished...

Yeah! Let's all Barry our cars up! Why bother? Giving the car more surface area to push through the air is not the ideal way of making your car go faster! That extra bumper area will cause more drag and less miles to the gallon!

What about the pointless spoiler? That car wouldn't feel and effects from that spoiler, especially now that it can't go that fast!

Does it have a supercharger? No? Why the holes in the bonnet then?

    But apparantley it looks good

(I think the word of the day has to be 'turd'!)

Note the big intercooler behind the bumper

Same spoiler as fitted to the earlier Focus WRC model, didn't do that any harm

Because its now fitted with a turbocharger (take a wild guess at what the T230 on the no plate stands for), and again, its the bonnet fitted to the Focus WRC

Hunt around, you might just find that Gordon Spooner was a builder of rather fast FWD Escorts, used by a certain Gwyndaf Evans in the british rally championship...hardly someone who 'barrys' up cars...

So it's worth spending thousands haveing your roadworthy car turned into a gas guzzler?

    Bit overdone

I'm not generally a fan of spoilers, in particular the ones that look like they belong on a 60s F1 car.
Lose the bonnet vents and spoiler and that'll be a nice focus

    For my taste:

Lose the front air splitter, and the rear spoiler BUT keep the bonnet and the front grills, cos you need COLD INDUCTION.

Those bonnets are SO CLOSE to the engine....the heat build up would be massive.

What bad habits ain't expensive?, and sometimes its worth it...ask a friend of mine who had a standard looking Mini Clubman estate with a full-on 1380cc lump in it...on B-roads it would slaughter most things it came across...worth it when your flying past ricers/reps in beemers/etc...

Thats actually an old pic so i would think the current cars would come with more subtle bumper (RS type) and boot spoiler...but feel free to explain the benefits of cold air and the need for the bonnet vents to 'em...don't see anyone slagging off Scoobys or Evos for having vented bonnets...
