NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
That is a one of the best sports cars ever made. I was thinkin of getting rid of MX5 to get one!
□ΞVΞ□
Shame to hear that
I've had mine for just over 2 years now and it still makes me smile every time I drive it
Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean
Sorry but what is a proper honda? RWD? There's still the civic FD2 which I would regard a proper honda
Does the S2K come with the choice between a grey flatcap or a Burberry tracksuit top as standard like the rest of the Honda range?
No that makes senes, I wouldn't slate you for having an opinion like that, mine is very similar infact. I do think the FD2 ranks up there though, even if it is a bit more refined than you would expect from a type R.
.. says it all
It's on my list anyway.
even if they did bring a new one out it would just be all bloated and nasty
new cars are over, 10-20 year old cars are the future

The thing about the size is.. yes they are getting a bit big and heavy but look at the nissan GTR, the write up's on that make it sound like it weights 700KG less than it does
I agree with the older cars sentiment though, which is why I like my Ignis sport (sports..) so much. Less than a tonne, over 100bhp, rattles and creaks like mad.. lovely. It's like a baby civic type R and I really do mean that, having driven both within reasonble time frame of one another.
Its not always about more POWERR though.
The older Civic type R's much smaller, no doubt lighter and more nimble, nice finely tuned chassis, combined with a screamer of an engine are where its at. Rather than the wanna-be GT cruisers that there turning into.
But they (evo I'm refering to.. as thats all I bother reading these days) suggest the feeling of being lighter is not due to power but simply the way it feels on a tight road.
I do appriciate the difference between feeling light and being light though having spent the bulk of my miles between metro's, ignis's and a pervious gen mondeo
Thing is, I can't convince my mrs to let me have a DC2 but, the FD2 seems to work for her.. so I'm rolling with that
feel for you man
one more dc2 around for me mwahahaha
after knowing about the new civic Si:
why the eff is the FD2 type r a 4 door?
