haha that's insane! sod all controls :D
Its a small piece of history, even if it was driven by someone comparable to Hitler himself! An enthusiast may pay for it or another museum i'd guess!
LMAO! What a heap of junk!! As far as classic cars go, that's nasty
I want one of the huge black Mercedes that the Nazi's used to do their parades in. They look fun :) hehe wonder how much they are, more than my budget im sure :(
and still they want 120000dollars for it :eeK:Quote:

And why would that be, As the VW beetle goes that would make a perfect museum piece.Quote:

How many horses has she got?
IIRC, the earliest type 1 lumps put out just over 20 horses.Quote:

Well I think it's great, I love cranky old cars. How much does $120,000 equate to? At a guess, around £50K I suppose. If Goerring hadn't owned it, I wonder how much it would be worth then? Does a white bakelite dash and all the other non-standard add-ons affect the price?
I'd imagine a similar model without the Goerring connection and extras would probably fetch around £20K at most. And I'm doubtful of that.
I've restored a few old cars, lemme see, I've owned a 1951 Ford Prefect E493A, 1952 Ford Anglia E494A; 1982 'Beachcomber' Citroen 2CV; 1974 Citroen Ami; 1970's Citroen DS; and two early seventies Beetles. None of them particularly flash motors, you'll notice, except maybe the DS.
Currently driving a 20 year old South African (right hand drive) Mercedes 280SE, twin cam, wasn't sure about it at first, but starting to like it.
I like that Beetle but I'd never pay that much for it, even if I could afford it.
Exactly.Quote:
