    Car hunting... [56k eek!]

Me and Mr Nick went car hunting today, for his satisfaction of course Here are the highlights of our little cruise...I will begin first with the picture of the Chav and his Corsa roof spoiler!!

We went round Seat, Vauxhall and Ford garages...gotta say the IBIZA's and Corsa SXi's are lovely cars in fair reflection

    Wicked...

I think the Seat Leon with those wheels are really nice. Also like the look of the Focus (bout the only thing that I do like about it though).

The cars photo'd there wern't ones Nick is properly looking at, more just some of the nicer ones we saw on our travels

Me + Nick both live in Wollaton, the Ford garage was Sandicliffe [I bought me KA from there,] the Vauxhall's were in Chilwell area, near the Halfords and the SEAT garage was on the way back to Beeston

Gotta get some test drives set up now...some of the Showroom staff were a bunch of pillocks tho, being quite arsy even tho we showed actual interest!

As for that 206...yeh it was obviously spanked well and truly, they are Fox alloys and it didn't look in the best condition all over!!

hehe Tom, wanna give them my street name as well ;-)

Yeh, surprised a lot of people are from Nottingham area really!

The Silver Ibiza (pictured in the showroom) was one I'm looking at. The Cupra was one to dribble at

Sat in quite a few cars, can't fit in a 5door Corsa, but 3door is semi spacious. The Ibiza feels MASSIVE inside, and it has loads of little gadgets + gizmo's in it (climate control, lock all doors at a click - handy in event of carjacking / rough area etc).

I also spotted a red 1.4S SEAT Ibiza on an 02 plate, dont 51,000 miles though, but is in really good condition with a few added extras - for £5k.... bit of haggling and its a possibility!! It's probably a company car, which means it would of been taken to a Main Dealer for servicing, and also regularly.... we will have to see though

The sales assistant was mainly just a pretty face whilst all the others were in a different room just gossiping.

What really annoyed me about the trip is that only the Ford garage were helpful. He was a nice natured guy, who was desperate for a sale

The others just basically disreguarded us, asif we were there "for a laugh" - I bet if I went with my parents they would be swarming all over us!!

...I do think some sales assistants really need to look themselves in the mirror, and realise chatting to a customer for 5/10 mins even if they are not looking to buy today will leave a good impression on the customer for that company. If people are pressured into things, then this is what gives sales assistants bad reputations.

Gonna edit your 2nd post then? lol

Yeh, if we could of at least been approached by a few more people... I reckon the SEAT Ibiza is my favourite at the moment..

One thing that shocked me was that the new Corsa SRi is only a 5E insurance group!
