I PXed my Y plate Fiesta Zetec-S for a 55 Mondeo Zetec 130 TDCI.

Had my first commute in at and it's quite a change but far more practical and an ideal commuting cruiser for the M4 and A33. Returned about 50mpg or so. Economy was the main reason for me to change, aside from wanting a car a (little) bit bigger.

A shame to lose the ZS, such a fun car but time to move on. If only I had a DAB tuner for decent radio 5 reception.

I've seen those Highway units before, I might replace the head unit at some point, too early to start changing things!

You're getting old

I predict next car change you'll have enjoyed the economy, but will then be looking for something with a bit more image/luxury.

Not that I did the same thing myself or anything... (mkII golf gti -> astra diesel ->looking at an octavia or something.. )

And a small bumpage. Without the climate control being needed in the hot weather and the cooler mornings, Eddie the Shipboard Computer is now displaying average Mpg as 53.5, and climbing. 33% more than the old Fiesta ever returned. I think I like this car.
