    First accident

    with me as the driver.

Guy should be 100% at fault - admitted to falling asleep at the wheel. Hit me head on and car will likely be considered total loss. We both have Geico, he has collision protection. Any advice, any at all, would be really appreciated.

    Re: First accident

Don't discuss the details on a public forum. Take names and addresses of all parties and witnesses. Gather as much information from the scene as possible - photos, sketches etc. while you remember it, then inform both your insurance and the police and follow their instructions. Head on collisions should be relatively straight forward as one of you will be on the wrong side of the road and the scene should be able to determine that quite quickly.
